Red Weather Warning Friday, 24 January 2025

The Met Office have issued a Red Weather warning for wind from 10am to 5pm on Friday 24 January covering souther parts of Stirling.

Areas affected, Drymen, Balmaha, Strathblane, Killearn, Croftamie, Buchlyvie, Balfron, Fintry, Carron Valley, Stirling City, Bannockburn

Plean, Fallin and Cowie.

Wind gusts of between 80 and 90 mph with potential of up to 100mph in some exposed areas.

It is advised that folks stay indoors in this area and do not travel whilst the red warning is in Place.
